Mouse freeze requires regular module reload. Help!

Hi,

Every once in a while, my mouse freezes. I have to run

rmmod psmouse
modprobe psmouse

to get it back. Its a synaptics touchpad on Kubuntu Dapper.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
unholy
