M5A99FX PRO R2.0 - ASUS Linuxmint 13/Debian7 install
I have bought a new PC with M5A99FX PRO R2.0 - ASUS and fx 8320 processor,8gb ram and 2 TB harddisk.I have installed win 7 32 bit in my pc.but when i try to install linuxmint 13/Debian 7(32 bit),its not getting installed.The Linux DVD boots but then it get stuck.Am able to install in my laptop with this DVD but not on my new PC.Can someone guide me how to install linux on my new PC?is that anything to do with UEFI?i have changed option to Other OS in bios,still cant install linux?
Yes,i was able to install debian jessie 64 bit.Under bios,go to advanced settings,on-board device options,check for asm106 and disable it.this worked for me.
