loading wireless drivers

Where is an appropriate place to load:

1) wpa_supplicant

2) dhcp client

I imagine that 1) would need to be loaded before 2), or I'd need to release, no?

Thanks.

Cool

I can't answer your question but, it would be easier for those who can if you were more specify. What distro are you running, are you using a laptop? Some extra info helps to let them know what you are working with cause a fix for a laptop is way different than for a desktop (IMO).

I am just on looking for wireless fixes too.

I agree. As you didn't post in a specific section, it's hard to tell you.. here is one for debian
The network configuration files are (unfortunatly) different from distribution to distribution (dhcp/wpa) You could build a short script to do it manually but why reinventing the wheel? Usually you are supposed to use
ifup <interface> to bring up an interface.
