kwallet and knetworkmanager

hi, i am running opensuse 10.2 and have my wireless internet working through ndiswrapper and knetworkmanager. i want to be able to store my pws in kwallet so i dont have to type them in each time. however, i dont know how to have kwallet put the pw in for me! i notice that after i put the pw into knetworkmanager, kwallet stores it automatically in the correct wallet. but, it never puts the pw in for me. what am i doing wrong?

If I remember correctly when you are asked if you want to store the password in Kwallet there is a box that you check that says Remember Password.
