Is there a way to have PulseAudio mix everything down to mono?

Distribution: Manjaro

I use PulseAudio, and wanna listen to some music originally in stereo. Since my headphones are only working in the left ear, I'd like to be able to hear whatever goes in the right channel, in the left channel.

I could just manually (or automatically) make every file into mono, but I'd rather not have to do this every time i download a song.

Sorry to be such a party pooper, but did you do any research at all before posting?
Because this quick search with your thread title has at least 2 relevant looking solutions.

Yeahhh, I didn't. My bad for not searching that before posting. Sorry! But either way, none of those work.

The first one is what I posted.

The second one I could follow right up until step 3, since I've no such thing as "Sound Preferences". Sooo.....

The third one has no responses

After that, it's just irrelevant results.

I'm sure you'll figure it out.
That's a minor snatch, the solution outlined seems reasonable all in all.

You have to be willing to do just a tiny bit of work yourself. People are not likely to help someone who comes off as ungrateful and lazy.

That aside, the advice given here seems solid. In my desktop menu (MATE), the relevant application is simply listed as "Sound" (and not "Sound preferences"), but even if you do not have that, you can install pavucontrol and use that instead (it's a great application to have, in any case).
