How to run Cube gears?

Hi there!

I have compiz-fusion. Everything works superbly!
I enable cube gears in CCSM, but I don't know what is keyboard shortcut to run it and see the effect?

I wanna see the cubes as below:

But I see slide forms (unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture from it by "print screen" button?!) by pressing ctrl+alt+arrow, not cube form with gears in it!

The setting dialog of cube gears is as below:

So, I can't set any button to run it!

what is the job that we have to do to get the cube gears option working?

Please tell...

THX.

Do you have the Desktop Cube and Rotate Cube plugins enabled? In the Desktop Cube plugin, make sure you adjust the "opacity during rotation" and/or "opacity when not rotating" to something other than 100%.

EDIT: You'll also want the horizontal virtual size to 4 in the general options section.

Hi Adam!

Thanks so much, I can see the cubes now!

I wanna ask if we should hold Ctrl+Alt key THE WHOLE time we wanna see the effects?

Is there any way to fix these effects and work with them, currently when I release these two buttons, the effect returns to it's previous mode(the simple desktop)?

And also, how could I take a picture from the effects?
When I press "print screen", the picture isn't saved in the clipboard! why?!

THX.

If you enable the viewport switcher plugin, you can also rotate the cube by rotating the middle mouse button or simply holding the middle mouse button down in the desktop. If you adjust the "opacity when not rotating" value, you can also see through the cube when it isn't rotating.

To use Print Screen to take a screenshot, make sure the "gnome compatibility" plugin is enabled and that there is a valid command in the "Screenshot command line" field.
