gdm3 crashes when mounting any USB device

Hello, folks...
I have been experiencing quite a strange issue lately. Every time i insert a USB device on any port, my GUI crashes, reloads to the login screen, and when i login again, all black and everything over again. This cycle only stops iterating when i disconnect the device (it can be anything, from pen drives to phones).
I booted it to runlevel 3 and checked dmesg's output after connecting my tablet (no crash, hence why i believe it's the GUI), it had all the information on the connected device but it didn't get an address at /dev/ ( it should be /dev/sdb1, on my case). And now i don't really know what to do, and no, Google could not help me.
Any ideas?
Distribution: Kali Linux (Using gnome, gdm3)
