[SOLVED] GDM wont stop

gdm wont stop. there stands

Stopping GNOME Display Manager: gdm.

i`m using this commmand:

/etc/init.d/gdm stop

i dont know why it isnt working properly...thanx for help

I was logged on in gnome rescue session and there was a problem of stoping gdm. After reboot it was working normally....
