e_utils dependancy error with libxine.so.1

I am trying to install e_utils and am getting a dependancy error. the thing is I have just installed the latest version of xine and have made sure that everything is installed correctly.

Has anybody had the same problem before?

Did you resolve this problem? If not, you need to install libxine and then e_utils.

Have you tried installing the rpms manually without using YUM. Also if you are sure libxine is installed, you can force the installation using "rpm -Uvh --force --nodeps".

Nope that doesn't work either get the following:

rpm -Uvh --force --nodeps e_utils-0.0.1-1.20060501cvs.i386.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
1:e_utils ########################################### [100%]

exige, eclair and the other utilities still aren't available

I should have made myself a bit clear. I meant that if you are sure libxine is installed, force the installation of the failing packages i.e. emotion and epsilon then use yum to install e_utils. Uninstall e_utils, then install emotion and epsilon then reinstall e_utils using YUM so that its dependencies are also installed.
