Do not crop text in terminal when not maximized - horizontal scrollbar

Don't know how would i even name the subject. But, basically, when i use terminal in regular size and i issue some command that would output long lines, for example "ps u", it will not display whole row of course. But. When i maximize the screen, it will still not display the entire line, but i would have to run the command again to get it to display.

Basically what im looking for is horizontal scrollbar, not just vertical.
It worked fine on gnome but not in cinnamon.

I'm using Fedora 28 and, again , Cinnamon desktop.

To show, it would display the lines like this, if i were to run "ps u" on regular size and then maximize it.

Code:
mtodoric 2502 0.0 0.8 1006300 72828 tty2 Sl+ 22:10 0:00 /usr/share/skyp

mtodoric 7179 0.0 0.0 220580 5844 pts/0 Ss 22:33 0:00 bash
It pretty much had cut the text to the length of the terminal.

If I'm not making lot of sense tell me, i will upload a screenshot

Thanks in advance !

Well, seems like bumping stty columns to a higher value will do the trick. Just don't know how that got reset when i installed cinnamon. Let me know if you have any other ideas but this seems to work fine

Well, it depends. On the emulator maybe, and on the command maybe. Some commands are aware of the context in which they are called. Try "ps -uww" (that's 2 w's).
As for re-flow on redraw that should be an option for the emulator, but will depend on which one.

i can reproduce this with ps, but other commands do not do it this way.
so in my experience this is command specific, not terminal specific.

Weird. Used to work fine on gnome. But nevermind, ever since I've bumped stty column variable, it works as intended
Thanks everyone for feedback !

Check your terminal configs, you may be able to set a horizontal scroll bar there.
