Disable gnome-terminal scrollbar?

Is there a way to do this? I used to be able to disable the scrollbar in the Mac OS X terminal and really liked the look of it.

You should be able to do this in preferences.

Hmm is there a way to get rid of the window border for the terminal?

You can remove the menu bar from preferences and set the background to transparent. Not sure if you can remove the border completely.
