Converting Ubuntu to Diskless Boot on a Buffalo NAS

I have Ubuntu running on a desktop that is great, but want to make it boot off my my Buffalo NAS. What is the most efficient way to
1. Create a writable instance of my current installation and store it on the NAS
2. Get the Buffalo NAS to serve it up when I boot from the LAN

My Bios supports booting from the LAN.

Check out the link below. As far as I know you need a tftp server in order to get PXE to work. Make sure your NAS has the capabilities required.
