Question /boot/efi in fstab question.

My system boots at the moment and am just curious if I have a redundant fstab file.

Listed below is my /etc/fstab file:
Code:
/dev/sda5 /boot vfat noatime 0 0
/dev/sda5 /boot/efi vfat defaults 0 1
efivarfs /sys/firmware/efi/efivars efivarfs defaults 0 1
/dev/sda1 / ext4 noatime 0 0
proc /proc proc nosuid,noexec,nodev 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs nosuid,noexec,nodev 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
tmpfs /run tmpfs defaults 0 0
devtmpfs /dev devtmpfs mode=0755,nosuid 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
Do I need both /boot and /boot/efi - or can one of them be commented out?

Thanks

You should not have both. The entries in /etc/fstab are mounted after boot, so they don't have to be right in order to boot.

What is the output of the command "mount"?
