Audio CD Randomly Ejects

I'm having a problem playing audio CDs on both CDR and CDRW Drives (Ubuntu 6.06). I have tried using both drives with Sound-Juicer and Rhythmbox to play audio CDs. In all cases, the song will play for about 30 seconds and the CD will eject. The same thing happens when attempting to rip/extract a song with Sound-Juicer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Well you are not alone in this problem, take a look at these posting on Ubuntu's forums, unfortunately no obvious answer amongst them as of yet.
