Accidental typeover toggle

Somehow I keep activating the typeover toggle during typing. It happens on any document or application, even here when typing a question on an internet forum (not just in OO word). How can I disable the typeover keyboard short cut. I cant find this anywhere on the computer.

The typeover toggle is the insert key on your keyboard.

In my entire computing life I have never used the typover key. It's just been a thorn in my side for a long time. The insert key on this keyboard is on the number pad. Now that I know which one it is...how to do I permanently disable it. (I don't mean toggle the number lock)
