For starters, you should be posting in the Linux Certification forum. Please also provide more information about what exam you are studying for. If you are new to Linux it's unlikely you'll be able to learn everything in a week to pass one of the recognised exams.

It will be hard to retain what you learn because you don't have a context to put it in. And yes, if you are going to be a systems administrator there are a lot of commands to learn. Once you learn them, you should study shell scripting so you don't always have to type them...

Good luck

More than may be possible.... there is a lot of information at
http://rute.2038bug.com/index.html.gz
Not everything, I'm sure (Though I haven't gotten all the way through it yet.)

You will need more than one week. Not only just to study, but to actually learn.
Taking any Test with out actually knowing and understanding the material is pointless as far as I am concerned.

Good luck

He said he had a "week point" MEANING "weak point !!"
NOT one week to prepare.

If the test is given in English, he needs A LOT more time.
