I've googled around a bit for help on this topic but as most people have abandoned winME there was only one thing I could find which didn't fix the problem. The problem is that the computer running ME can't see the linksys router, much less go past it to the internet. I have tried setting all the different manual configurations according to what the router reads and also tried using the standard dhcp auto detection to no avail. Any help on this topic is greatly welcomed. Thanks in advance!
Make sure you have the network settings properly done per your linksys documentation which I'm sure you've already done.
I assume your running broadband through a standard nic. If that's the case, try connecting the broadband modem directly to your nic just to make sure everything is working OK on that end. That will take the router out of the equation. If you can't connect directly through the broadband modem, something is wrong in your box.
