Unix /linux Job

Is this job a good opportunity to become a UNIX/LINUX Administrator.

Initially it is 100% phone support, but at a higher level. Opportunity in time to move into other areas. (Other areas of support, ie Network, desktop)

This is the position in New York, USA.

Unix Help desk support.. Must be able to answer basic unix commands and Network troubleshooting.

If you have little to no experience in Linux/Unix admin then this might be the way to go. If you interview I would ask what the career path of this job is and tell them that your goal would be to become an admin.

Also depends on where you currently live and if you are willing to live New York. Is it New York city or somewhere else in the state of NY?
