Setting up network printer?


how do i set up network printer. this is not a printer attached to a computer, its a printer directly connected to the network hub. i know its got to do with ip address configuration and stuffs but who can precisely guide me?
this is hp 8500 N printer, the network consists of window xp and windows 2000 workstation.
