Say goodbye to downloading linux DVD's

If you do not wish to download several CD's or DVD of some Linux distro you can order them for free at

www.linuxmagazine.org

I have recived my Fedora Core DVD 2 weeks ago.
The only thing is you will have to register and support their web site in order to get a free DVD.

The URL in your post is spelled incorrectly.

That makes sense.
AOL sends me CD's at least once a month weather I want them to or not.

Sounds great.

One question though, is there any reason you chose to order FC2? Support for Fedora core 2 is gradually being phased out, so wouldn't the latest version of the distro have been better? Just my $.02!

I think he meant that he received it 2 weeks ago, not that it was Fedora Core 2... perhaps

I don't think so. It's nice to download ISO images and getting the Linux distribution I want to work with in hours rather than weeks.

Hmm... I am having a little trouble registering over there... I will try again later. Sounds pretty cool though.

I put them back in the mail with a big note that says: "Return to Sender". They can keep their own trash.

I made a pretty cool physics project using CD's for the wheels.

you must remember that not everyone has blistering internet speeds, and for people like that, services like this are a linux-saver.
