Yup, both is good, but that just wasn't on the menu.
It always seems to be just one or the other.
But which????
Having worked at a resturaunt and knowing people who have worked at restaurants, just because it's not on the menu doesn't mean they can't accomodate you in what you might want. Next time ask the waiter and I'm sure they'll gladly give you both.
I always have a nice Peshwari Naan and rice with my curry. But if i were forced to choose between the two in this odd restaurant, I would choose naan bread. And then never eat there again.
dont eat too much rice , rice in itself makes people feel lazy , especially during the afternoon ...
curry ?? my fav. ... my prefer style is curry over rice vermicelli or noodle but you need to add some more extra things , all in all a gravy dish minus the "big" meat ... dont use fingers use chopsticks instead ...
if you want to use hand , go for solid thosai(probably 6 to 8 pieces in a shot) on coconut leaves , with 2 very important gravy(normally in small stainless steel "cups") but i prefer to pour them all onto the thosai(may need to replendish those gravy oftently though) , ... you will like the "buuuuuurrrrb" ...
dont forget about fish head in thick(sometime a lot thinner) curry ... it a great meal for many but frankly speaking , i cant appreciate these sort of meals ... the "feeling"(not the taste of it) was kind of like eating plastic(actually abalone) ... thats why i always exchange food like these for classy vegetables and believe me , one time i even managed exchanging with frog legs ...
probably there are ways to have frog legs with curry(or something like curry) ?? colors and and the smells of them are in thousands ...
some important , some not so important ... i suspect that many of them were actually easily available excuses to ward off perceptive comprehension ... its a very long story ...
The thing about the pasta was a joke, by the way.
There isn't actually anyone here who likes curry with pasta (I hope?)

Most resteraunts will happily give you both rice and Naan bread, you just might have to pay a (small amount) extra.
Yup, I didn't really want to spend an extra couple of bucks ordering something off the side menu. Either way, it might have just ended up being too much carbohydrate*. They'd never give you half a portion of naan and half a portion of rice.
*...except if it's one of those curries that are so hot that filling your mouth with water doesn't help: only relief being to rapidly eat more [non-spicy] food, e.g. naan/rice!
