PVR Cards
I am looking into setting up a PVR system and have been shopping around on different PVR cards.
First of all -- are there any recommendations out there? I'd like to keep it below $150 if possible.
Also, I hear a lot about the Happauge cards. What exactly is the difference bewteen the 250 and the 350?

all the pvr stuff can easily be done through software, e.g. mythtv or freevo. i'd say just by any tv card you want, maybe a dvb one.. but the whole pvr card thing isn't really somethign i'd think to be worthwhile.

Unfortunately, this is going to be a WinXP machine, so those linux solutions will not work for me.

this is a linux forum remember... if you're going to ask about hardware for windows systems, kinda helps if you say so explicitly....

Could people also mention what is good for linux compatibility. I'm in the UK and I would like something that will work under the UK system on linux for as cheap as possible (Im a student).
