http://qtparted.sourceforge.net/
Description: QTParted is a Partition Magic clone written in C++ using the Qt toolkit.

If you have a knoppix livecd handy, throw it in your cd drive, reboot and you should be able to launch qtparted.

Oops, 2damncommon beat me to the reply, sorry for the extra post.

I have found the gparted live-cd as quite a replacement for Partition Magic, supports most filesystems, resizing (grow and shrink) partitions, move data, copy entire partitions or disks, etc. Comes with a lot of drivers and required libraries

Pretty neat project

Edit: doh! I have never seen a simultaneous triple post before!

Download Hiren's Boot CD ISO, create a bootable disk from it, and on it you will find many programs to help, several partition one's like Partition Magic, GParted and Acronis (my personal favorite)I have used all of them at one point or another and one time Partition Magic could not read my partitions, yet Acronis could. Luck to ya..
