Instead of editing your post and then PMing me to request the same, you're instead deciding to claim I'm a liar?

Whilst regular users can only see time of last edit, vBulletin has Edit History, and so Jeremy can see the previous revisions which contained the text I quoted.

The Guardian newspaper has today Thursday 6th April 2023 begun a "Cost Of The Crown" investigative series about the royals' secretive finances. The articles are available in the paper newspaper and freely online.

Today's articles in the series -

How the British royal family hides its wealth from public scrutiny. Ahead of the coronation of King Charles III, the Guardian’s Cost of the crown series exposes the entrenched secrecy around the royal family’s money and wealth. By David Pegg and Paul Lewis.

Revealed: royals took more than £1bn income from controversial estates. Investigation reveals King Charles and the late queen’s income from duchies grew sixteenfold during Elizabeth’s reign. By Rob Evans, Felicity Lawrence and David Pegg.

Who owns and profits from the duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall? – timeline. Key dates in the centuries-old debate over whether the duchies, and their income, belong to the royals or the people. By Felicity Lawrence and Rob Evans.

Entirely tax free as well, apart from a token voluntary amount. So they still exploit us as if we are their feudal vassals from mediaeval times, but at least they are polite about it.

Please always remember the "house rules" that the participants are never the subject of conversation. Insults are off-limits. If you're offended, that's what private messages are for.
