Microsoft "Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1" USB_3.0 AMD Carrizo problem. Help please!

"Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 X64 Datacenter"
Amd Carrizo APU 8700P Mobile

Can't install USB_3.0 software drivers and "device manager" maintains a yellow exclamation mark ((code 28) under properties)).

I'm guessing there's a feature missing? Had similar problem with MTP Android devices not working until adding "Desktop Experience" "Server Feature" through dism, and then it did work; is this problem similar?

The silly part is the device ID matches the driver .inf buried under folder tree of Catalyst 15.7.1 chipset driver (C:\AMD\AMD-Catalyst-15.7.1-SB-SATA-AHCI-Win10-Win8.1-Win7\Packages\Drivers\SBDrv\hseries\USB30\amdxhc\W764A folder). But trying to install manually from device manager results in "doesn't contain a compatible driver.".
Code:
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7914&SUBSYS_06BD1028&REV_20
Thanks for any help!

NOTE:
BTW thought it'd be okay to post here since maybe it'd be a good idea for forum to add a Windows non-linux section...

No thank you (by the way, that's a euphemism.)

I'm sure a windows site would be more useful to you.

The "General" section is where questions about non-Linux operating systems are usually posted so you got that right but I'd have to agree that a windows forum would be a much better source of information for your question. Microsoft also has an extensive support site.

This thread was moved from the S&F forum - that's what the OP was talking about.
