Fedora 25: HP 17, Carrizo, ACPI, VGACON errors and much much more

i have a very (negative) strong feeling towards "much, much. more" phrase. That about how i feel about the amount of errors i have in the freshly installed Fedora 25 on HP 17-g121wm.

There seemed to be so many errors, that i'm not quite sure where to start. Let me start with errors from journal err output. The full log reveals too many for my sanity.
One of the usability issues is that the screen is set to 1100x900 and has no other options to select. Clearly something is broken.

Code:
[root@hp ~]# journalctl -b -p err

It looks like your machine has a buggy ACPI implementation. You can boot with the noapci option. I also would expect Fedora 25 to have its fair share of bugs, because it uses wayland, which is fairly new.

Sorry, somehow i didn't receive a notification about the reply.

it appears the issue is with the driver's support ( or rather the lack of it).
I'll be trying my luck this wknd with fglrx and F27 mostly because the laptop is quite unstable ( graphic wise) - constant changes in the resolution etc.
