LAMP(Linux,Apache,MySql,PHP) and other info

I desperately need some information about:

--LAMP standard(Linux,Apache,MySql,PHP), I mean how they fit together, advantages, disadvantages and other stuff

--The OpenSource sw business:what it meant for the earlier sw firms, how are opensource firms now...

Does anyone know any link about these subjects?

The best article I've found on this topic can be found here Dunno if it's what you're looking for but I found it to be invaluable. -- J.W.
