Totally right! I claim conspiricy against the italians. 5 disallowed goals (that I saw that were actually good) and a very suspect ref in the SK match.

Though I have Italian ancestry I have no great love for their style of football but what happened to them this WC was totally bogus!

Assuming that germany has now beaten the US I am going for those guys

soccer is really starting to get a lot of attention in the US. I'm not into it myself but a lot of kids are starting to play it and get interested so we should have better teams later on. The traditional youth sport in the US is baseball but soccer is really taking off.

USA should challenge everyone else to a game of American Football

So who we're going to see in the finals - I still hope Brazil vs Germany as I bet in the begining of the Cup, but with all that referee's admiration of Korean team I am in doubt. But Brazil will win anyway :-) because I bet so !!!

No fear! - The refs are with Korea!

I am going to put money on korea winning their next match. Not because they are any good or even deserve to win, but with the refs in their pockets I with 'em

Even though I live in the United States I can hardly call it football and baseball is a boring game too.

how do you market internationally a game that carries a nationalistic tag? which country would want a national team that plays American Football? think of the political nuances... lol. like neo, i don't think anyone outside the US would be interested in taking up that challenge.
