Inviting anyone at LQ for writing a Book using Collabedit, just for fun

Hello,

Wanna share you knowledge about Linux?

Can users of LQ write together a book, during their free time?
Do you believe that a book can be written in only few weeks, if just a few work on it? Persons means 10x times faster, how fast can it be? Herewith a LINUX collaborative try to...

It is just an experimental try for fun, if it can really be achieved to success.

Yeah, I already wrote a book about Linux, don't want to write another one. But I can edit. I've done a lot of editing for the Open Document people.

great & amazing.

The idea would be that each user write few lines, or few new findings about their experience.
that would be a benefit for everyone

You'd never get them to cohere. It would just be a kind of scrapbook. Anyway, we've already got the LQ Wiki. And there are sections for articles and tutorials too. Plenty of room to share experiences. Actually I wonder how many people use these resources. Is there any way of finding out?

Never used it but I had it in my notes: "Xsel or Xclip (integrate tmux/shell buffers with X apps; the clipboard feature)". I may give it a try though in the near future..
