I dont know how to secure my wirless network plz help

I have a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with speedbooster.

I have the network set up I jsut need help making it secure cause I dont understand. My laptop has an internal card that picks up wi-fi signals idk what it is called though. Thank-you for your time and help.
