I can't ping from my linuxbox to vista, viceversa is posible. liux to linx also psble


Hello,

I have virtual n/w in which 4 linux box and vista. i can ping from all linux box to each other. and vista to linux box. But I CAN'T PING FROM LINUX BOX TO VISTA ? is anything i have to activate in vista to accept packets from linuxboxes?
Please help me?

Check your firewall settings in vista.

Hello

i am new to vista. yes firewall is there. I don't know which option check or uncheck. I am confused with it. Please let me know which one.

Hi

check the option "file and printer sharing" in vista's firwall.
