How much is this worth?

I have a Pinnacle Pro-ONE system, PCI Card, Blackbox, sofware, etc. Here's a link to the specs:

http://www.aboutvideoediting.com/har...-Pro-One.shtml

I don't use it and want to know how much it would be worth if I sold it. I can't find any definite answers as of now. I did find a forum thread where a guy was talking about buying the card from someone else, used, for 6-7000. I wasn't sure if that was dollars or yen .

Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

That link you provided didn't give a price. I got an error when I tried to go to the "buy" page.

The system specs for the card make it sound like it is several years old - 7 or 8 years anyway.

So, a few questions. What did it go for when new? I presume it is used, not a new-in-box older model? How does its performance compare to current generation cards that do the same job? Is there a warranty? All materials with it? Is there some limitation (such as won't work with Vista)?

Rule of thumb for electronics that old is that they're worth about ten cents on the original dollar. Sometimes a bit more in special circumstances.

Well, I'm not sure what the original price was - it was given to me. I don't use it, so I wouldn't really know. Everything appears to be in perfect condition. I have all the manuals and hardware, just don't have the box. It's a real-time editor, according to the manual, that means it can edit the video as it streams in from your connected video camera if thats what you want. Apparently its a very high-end product.

It does not support Vista but does support XP and older. I have the CDs for it.

I found one site with a price, but I have seen higher somewhere.

Well, if that is the going price used/surplus, then I would take that as an indication, and would try for something at least close to that.
