Question GZIP mutiple files at any one time

Hi my Fello LQans,
I need some help on GZIP.

Say i have the following files

abc.db
cde.ttt
xyz.db

I need to GZIP all files above with one command, so all will be zipped.

Now, I dont want to zip all in to one file. The files after zipped should look like this.

abc.db.gz
cde.ttt.gz
xyz.db.gz

Thanks in-advance,
A.

Simply
Code:
gzip <filelist>
should do the work. Is it a question about the way to include all files using wild characters? For example
Code:
gzip *.db *.ttt
