Talking "Get the facts", from the other side...

I just had to post this, I found amusing . As you know, MS started a campaign a while ago entitled as "Get the Facts", where they failed to prove how much cheaper and reliable Windows is compared to Linux. It can be found here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...s/default.mspx

But what I've found cool is a similar site, where they not only prove MS wrong, but made a clone-like site, very well done by the way:

http://getthefacts.nu

Please note, this is not a mslinux-like site. It's serious stuff.

Regards!

"Please note, this is not a mslinux-like site. It's serious stuff. "

I think that it is very well done. Somebody has put some thought and effort into that site.

Thanks for the replies guys. jailbait, do you mean that more effort should be put into mslinux.org or getthefacts.nu?. I like mslinux.org, very funny, but definitely needs critical updates...

getthefacts.nu is really good and should get more attention, that's for sure

" jailbait, do you mean that more effort should be put into mslinux.org or getthefacts.nu?. "

I did not look at mslinux.org so my comment only applies to getthefacts.nu. I was using the past tense so I meant that a lot of effort has already been put into getthefacts.nu.

Eminds seems to be a Swedish company based in Stockholm. Megaman X, do you have any connection to Eminds other than living in the same city?

Nope, sorry jailbait. In fact, I never even have heard of them before. Most likely because I gave up to get a job in the computer field for a long time ago . Been checking their site and it seems pretty good though, helping to switch to Linux, from servers to OpenOffice, etc.

Hi

Thanks for your comments (I found your discussion from the referer logs
My intension with the site is to present tools, articles, success stories, howtos, and facts
showing companies and orgs who have made Windows to Linux migrations and use of (F)OSS.

I'm trying to keep a "professional" tone at the site so that it's content get more accepted.

This is very nicely done indeed
Nice to see someone actually stepping up and literally giving them some of their own medicine
