Error 2 Bad file or directory type when trying to boot into Linux

Got a new system that has Win 10 pre-installed.

Installed Slacko, but it will not boot to it.

I get

Boot flag is set for that partition.

Is windows 10 installed using UEFI?
Is Slax using UEFI?
What is the primary bootloader? Which OS? Slax, windows, some other system?

I have no idea if Windows 10 is using UEFI. It came pre-installed.

I told the BIOS to use legacy instead of UEFI.

Primary bootloader is grub.

I am trying to use Puppy Slacko 6.3.0.

Thanks.
