i just installed gentoo, stage3, using genkernel.the grub .conf is
root (hda0,0)
kernel /kernel-2.4.26-gentoo-r9 root=/dev/ram0 init=/linuxrc ramdisk=8192 real_root=/dev/hda

grub finds the file, it is just the wrong type, the /boot/2.4.26-gentoo-r9 directory is empty, is this correct?
should i try to to reinstall the kernel?n
