Why 'wget --spider', which just checks if the file exists?
To show the forum how large that file would be in 3000k format if they were thinking about downloading it. Larger format will be more, smaller format will be less. 768x462 will be about 850MB. 960x540 will be about 1.5 GB, etc.

Some people have limited bandwidth for the month.

I got the Moderna and the 2nd jab was definitely more impactful than the first but only for a day for me. It was 2 days for my Son but we were forewarned that younger people have a stringer reaction to the 2nd than old dogs like me.

Too bad I didn't come across this video back when this and other such threads started but here, better late than never, is an excellent non-nonsense walkthrough on the basics of how vaccines work, are produced, and also their history which goes back hundreds of years, brought to you by the highly respected Scientific American Publishing.

^^^ Very good video, very good explanation of how vaccines work. I've just recently had my second AstraZenica shot... No reaction whatsoever, couldn't even identify the needle puncture site after the injection and days later!

I've never had a flu shot, a pneumonia shot or a cold in my life and am not going to get a vaccine of any kind now or in the future. Try to make me.

I do take it seriously though. I wear a mask with a 5 layer removable filter, the middle being activated charcoal, when I leave my apartment and one of the few in the building that do. There have been several people who came up positive and were Quarantined, I went to the Pharmacy an picked a a girls meds for her while she was stuck inside.

Not everyone who was Quarantined seemed to grasp the concept. At least one person was seen walking around outside without a mask, he didn't get near me because I told him not to. One old woman died while in the hospital.

I wish we had more like that in India. There's a massive vaccine shortage made worse by logistical incompetence. People line up from 4:00 am in the hope of getting a jab. One can try to book a "slot" online but the window of opportunity is fleeting, somewhat like a flash sale.

I managed to get the first of two doses of Covishield (the local name for the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine). Whether I'll get the second in a timely manner is unclear. The guy in charge of making the Covishield vaccine is currently in London where he's made statements fearing for his safety back in India. See https://www.businessinsider.in/scien...w/82357183.cms.

Why Did It Take So Long to Accept the Facts About Covid?
Quote:
A week ago, more than a year after the World Health Organization declared that we face a pandemic, a page on its website titled “Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19): How Is It Transmitted?” got a seemingly small update.

The agency’s response to that question had been that “current evidence suggests that the main way the virus spreads is by respiratory droplets” — which are expelled from the mouth and quickly fall to the ground — “among people who are in close contact with each other.”

The revised response still emphasizes transmission in close contact but now says it may be via aerosols — smaller respiratory particles that can float — as well as droplets. It also adds a reason the virus can also be transmitted “in poorly ventilated and/or crowded indoor settings,” saying this is because “aerosols remain suspended in the air or travel farther than 1 meter.”

The change didn’t get a lot of attention. There was no news conference, no big announcement.
[...]

Mary-Louise McLaws, an epidemiologist at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and a member of the W.H.O. committees that craft infection prevention and control guidance, wanted all this examined but knew the stakes made it harder to overcome the resistance. She told The Times last year, “If we started revisiting airflow, we would have to be prepared to change a lot of what we do.” She said it was a very good idea, but she added, “It will cause an enormous shudder through the infection control society.”

This assumption that these larger droplets that can travel only a few feet are the main way the disease spreads is one of the key reasons the W.H.O. and the C.D.C. didn’t recommend masks at first.[...]
The Good News Is That Vaccines Work Against India Strain. The Bad News...
Quote:
"We wanted to know whether this double mutant really is a double whammy," said Gupta, a professor of clinical microbiology at Cambridge's Institute for Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Diseases. What they found was that while each of the mutations could partly evade neutralizing antibodies, the two mutations didn't combine to create an even greater ability to evade immune protection.

"They don't combine to make a super mutant," Gupta said. "It kind of debunks this view that this double mutant is doubly evading neutralizing antibodies."

I don't care and I don't know what vaccines you already had as a child but some require boosters.

Don't ever get a cut or a scratched or bitten by an insect, I would not want you to get Tetanus.
If you are around infants don't ever cough because you might give them Pertussis.
I do not know where you live or if you travel but get Hepatitis, it is pretty much everywhere except North America or Austrialia.
If your old and have had chickenpox don't get shingles. You could be the 1 in 5 person to have long term complications.

The thing that no one is discussing is that these aren't "vaccines" at all!

They've never undergone clinical trials. They've never been found to be either safe or effective. People have been purposely lied-to as to what's actually going into their arms. They've never been told what these things are and how they're supposed to work, nor that there are any risks at all. Nobody bothered to tell you that they cause your body to (briefly?) become a "Genetically Modified Organism (GMO)." Nobody told you that these things have never been used in humans before, nor that they killed an awful lot of laboratory animals, sometimes in very gruesome ways.

Nobody told you anything that you could use to make an informed decision. Instead, they would like to take away your right to decide. (They get to sell more product that way.)

The Fact: These are purely-experimental mRNA therapies which are being hawked by companies which could not pass clinical trials. So, with the help of "Dr. you-know-who," a "medical emergency" was manufactured, leading to "emergency use authorization." Not in any legal way – since effective treatments do exist – but, "money talks."

The problems that are now coming to light is not only that these potions are dangerous – sometimes causing the body to attack and kill itself – but also that they don't work. Many people who have received these shots subsequently came down with the disease.

The manufacturers, who are magically protected from any liability, carefully stated in very fine print that they never promised that their potions would provide immunity, only that they would make symptoms less severe. Complicating this statement is the observation that they actually make things worse for those who subsequently are exposed to the natural virus: the body over-reacts, sometimes with catastrophic or deadly results. (This is one key reason why mRNA's have never yet successfully passed any trials.)

We're going to look back over 2020-2021 and realize that we were massively and deliberately deceived, and that millions of people were put in danger, strictly to provide windfall profits to the manufacturers – who sell each and every dose. We threw clinical trials and "proof of safety and efficacy" completely out the window in the pursuit of "mammon," so that companies could sell in huge volumes what they'd never been able to sell before. "Dr. you-know-who," already an unjustifiably rich man, personally facilitated this and is personally profiting from all of it, as are people like Bill Gates. Suddenly, their hitherto-"sunk" investments are paying off bigly.

We're all going to pay the price – without ever being properly informed that there might even be a price.

We took a comparatively mild virus that is less dangerous than the seasonal flu, and turned into an instrument of politics and domination by lying about it.

"Dr. you-know-who" and a great many others should go to jail for this.

They certainly have! I remember the reports on all three trial stages for both Pfizer and Oxford quite clearly. They were all over the UK press. But maybe they weren't reported in the US.

On the contrary, we (in the UK anyway; I can't speak for the US) have been given clear explanations of how RNA vaccines work. They haven't been used before but that doesn't make their workings particularly mysterious. They certainly don't turn you into a GMO because they don't contain any DNA that could be incorporated into your genes. And the Oxford/AstroZeneca vaccine is virus-based just like flu vaccine. That's old technology.

That's precisely what covid often does.

So how come people have stopped dying of covid-19 in Israel and the UK? We must be doing something right. Those countries where vaccination doesn't appear to be working have all been using the Chinese vaccine, which has been shown by tests to be not very effective, especially in a single dose. These are the same kind of tests of course that have shown the high efficacy of Pfizer, Moderna and AstroZeneca.

Perhaps you would like to explain to the people of India how this comparatively mild virus managed to kill at least 200,000 of them (probably a lot more) so that they are now throwing bodies into the Ganges, having run out of timber to cremate them. I don't recall seasonal flu doing that either in India or anywhere else.
