Advice on printers is a heck of lot more relevant to Linux than some of the nonsense posted here......
HP is the established leader in office printers--I just got a low-end BW model (1022) and it is great. No knowledge of their low-end color lasers.
If price is a big factor, pay attention to the cost of consumables.
Also, HP is one of the "good guys" in regard to Linux support. At least with inkjets, Canon is NOT. I have started asking store clerks if the itme in question supports Linux. Sometimes I actually get an intelligent answer. Better yet, more and more stuff has Linux compatibility printed on the box.
