It's discussed on Slashdot that CNN video is now free. But the javascript is incorrectly reporting that your Firefox browser on Linux doesn't have the right plugin to view the video. We can use this feedback form to request they revisit their code & either fix it or allow the enduser the option to select their settings. The form to make this request is linked below.
Please take the time to fill it out and tell others.
This is one thing that bugs me about many media sites, they seem to want you to use windows media player if you want to access any multimedia content on their sites. I am glad the bbc offers the choice to use RealPlayer.

I agree with macewan. I've already gone to the form. Thanks for posting the link to it! It's important we all go. I actually just pointed out that it won't work on Macs or Linux computers. Hearing it doesn't work on Macs may prick up their ears a bit more.
Now, not to go off-topic, macewan, but I notice you're an Ubuntu/Debian person. I'm about to install Debian testing in a moment. Do you prefer it or Ubuntu and why?
Thanks for encouraging others to fill out the form. We're lucky that the option exist for us to voice our opinion, shame that more people don't use the gift of voicing their thoughts.
Ubuntu over Debian since it's release cycle is more often.
