boot with basic


I have this program for an old atari 800 but it says to "boot with basic" what do I do?

I can only speak for myself, but I don't think most people on this forum are using atari 800's (please correct me if I'm wrong).

it surely couldn't mean with the programming language could it ??

It could be that the emulator was written in basic.....then again.....
