Oh my goodness, May 4, and here Taz and I were chuckling at each other. At least I'm younger ;P

Regardless, happy really late birthday Steph and Tricky, and just barely late birthday Dave P.

Cheers,

Finegan

Sorry Dude, I didn't join LQ until the day after your 21st. I'll remember this time around.

Cheers,

Well, it was a few factors really.

For one, I was getting bored of the name. Plus, my ex boytoy gave it to me, and I really dont like him anymore, so I dont really want anything associated with him to be close to me.

Take that and the fact so many people here and elsewhere think I am a guy is annoying, let alone having to correct them.

Besides, I like my name.

so, you no longer work as data entry, desktop support more challenging isn't it?

Well I do both.

I definately do not like data entry though, which is probably why it is so hard to get me to sit down and learn to program.

But support is not all that bad. Admittedly, I am getting more and more irritated with the incrediable ignorance (I am being nice) of people and computers.

Unfortunately, I am the only one of the support people even willing to try to help someone running Linux. Othersie, it is Win NT 4.0 and 5.0. Thank god no XP.........yet!
