Thats not true Proud. This forum is an open one and most things are up for discussion. mods don't ever just close a thread because they can. I have to agree with Chris - terrorism is just not a subject I would like here (and I am pretty open about these things). If you have any other questions/concerns feel free to post them.
I didnt mean that they just do it because they can, but that they've been given that power because they're trusted to use it correctly. And as the topic of terrorism isn't wanted here, complaining about threads about it being closed wont get anywhere, because everyone agrees it isn't needed here.
Terrorism is a fine topic however before long you have people that are loitering. If you regularly contribute Linux answers and you feel like talking about terrorism or some other offtopic than that should be okay, but if you don't contribute to linux related discussions than closing your thread should help wake you up.
Did he say te***ism? Oh I bet theres some cryptic underground beowolf cluster somewhere that now has all your names associated with the word haha! oh wait MY name was in that one. Gotta go, someones at the doo......
As for Chris, why would anyone directly attack him? First off, he mods the oddest forum on LQ: General. In the other forums, if a discussion is about tasting piss, it's pretty easily known why it is locked. I believe it takes someone with Chris's sense of moral judgement, along with his strict mindset to mod a forum like this.
If anything, be happy he closed it and return to either a more meaningful thread in another forum, or participate in a more light hearted discussion on Dolphins or something.
Originally posted by taz.devil lmao!! I've been gone a long while, yet still some things just will NOT die and that would be the Dolphins. haha... That just cracks me up...
Yeah, I don't think its ever going to go away, I'm cursed forever for making that post..
