Free Windows??? They'd have to pay me to pollute any of my 'puters with it.

"Almost" 200 Windows updates? Well, sure, the first round's usually like 192 updates, and then you boot back up and the shutdown button says you have about 57 more. They can't even install all their patches in one go. It's stupid.

As I said, there was no way I could get the persons for whom this computer was purchased to consider anything but Windows. I didn't even try.

Nevertheless, it was enlightening to see what Windows looked like without all the "buy me" ware that OEMs add to it.
