Hardware Configuration
Hey all,
I'm putting together a hardware configuration that I want to install/run Fedora 5 on. I'd really appreciate it if someone could eyeball this for me and tell me if I'll run into any compatibility issues:
Intel E7230 chipset
Dual Core IntelŪ PentiumŪ D 950, 2X2MB Cache, 3.4GHz, 800MHz FSB
4 x 1 GB 533 DDR2 RAM
80GB & 160GB Serial ATA connected to onboard controller, no RAID
On-Board Dual Gigabit Network Adapter
It's been awhile since I've done a Fedora install (Fedora 2) and I remember difficulty with SATA and some difficulty with the chipset I was using at the time which was a new (for it's day) Intel chipset.
Is anyone aware of any shortcomings in Fedora 5 which would make installation on the above hardware problematic?
Thanks!
-Jeff
