Why my Wireless USB works for only a couple minutes

Hi everyone...

I'm new to the forums so first off i'd like to say hello... i'm relatively new to using Linux, but am learning fast.

About this problem before everyone blasts me, yes i have done a bunch of searching and found no resolution. What i've done is install a DLink DWL-G122 (HW ver B1) on my Fedora Core 4 box. Here's what i've installed:

Drivers:
rt2570-cvs-daily.tar.gz
kismet-2005-06-R1.tar.gz

After installing and configuring i'm able to connect via wireless to my lan, HOWEVER after a couple minutes my connection gets dropped. Sometimes it will come back but i will lose connection again after a couple minutes.

Sometimes when i'm booting i've seen a bit rate error on the wireless device

FYI I'm running WEP on my wireless...

Has anyone experienced this before? Please help!

Thanks in advance...

David
