Question Which package installs what RPMS?

Hi,

I'm installing Fedora Core 4 and I know I want to use xfsprogs. On the package selectionpage of the install, what package installs xfsprogs? How can I tell?? It doesn't show up in any list of details. An install of "Everything" installs it, but I don't want (or need) everything.

All help much appreciated.

Mark

The program that provides xfsprogs is called "xfsprogs".

unixgoose: Use “yum whatprovides ...” when you need to know which package provides some feature:

Code:
# yum whatprovides xfsprogs

xfsprogs.i386 2.7.3-1.2.1 base
Matched from:
xfsprogs

# yum whatprovides mke2fs

e2fsprogs.i386 1.38-12 base
Matched from:
/sbin/mke2fs

# yum whatprovides dosfsck

dosfstools.i386 2.11-4.2 base
Matched from:
/sbin/dosfsck

Thanks Guys,

I knew which RPM installed the functionality I wanted. I guess I misstated my question. What it should have said was "In the Package Group Selection portin of the install, which group contains the mkfs.xfs functionality?". This is really what I wanted...

Thanks,
Mark
