Upgrade F30 to F31, cant type luks password system looks crashed.

Helloy everyone, i had upgrade my Fedora 30 to 31 follwing this steps:

1. sudo dnf upgrade --refresh

2. sudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade

3. sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=31

4. sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot

My /home is encrypted with luks and i have to type the password each boot.

After reboot i got nothing just fedora loading screen forever, so i turn off and reboot using the f30 kernel, checked the logs and made the upgrade again.

Now i got stuck in the encrypt partition password prompt nothing works, so i reboot again using the f30 kernel and check the logs

You're not going to get anywhere with a kernel oops. Open a bug against Fedora so the devs can have a look at it.

Thumbs up

A new kernel was released and i updated.

Now i can type the Luks password but the system crash again, but this time the logs showed the problem instead of just general failure.

I have a HP Laptop with a RTL8723DE wireless/bluetooth card, and had to use a 3rd party drive to get wifi working, so the kernel was crashing because of this drive.

I removed the drive and now the system is booting. To got the wifi working again i have installed another drive.

The drive i was using in Fedora 30 https://github.com/smlinux/rtl8723de

The drive i am using now in Fedora 31 https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new/tree/extended

I reported that in the bugzilla.
