Screen blanks out intermently first hour after boot FC2

After upgrading from FC1 to FC2 the screen blanks out for about the first hour after boot. This happens on both of my computers one a laptop the other desktop. The only thing common between the two is an Athlon processor, It's like power saving mode is turning off the monitor. I can be typing and it will happen then I move the mouse and it turns back on. After about an hour it will stop. If I reboot warm or cold it will start again.
