Thumbs up Professional Audio Apps with Fedora Core 5

Hi everyone,

I have been a Slackware Linux user for about 8 years. I recently switched to Fedora Core 5 because of Planet CCRMA.

Awesome package.

Please check out my post at: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...20#post2376720

If you want to save yourself a lot of time and trouble, use Planet CCRMA on Fedora.

Switched to Gentoo with ProAudio Overlay

I wrote the top post after a very quick installation, but after using a Planet CCRMA system for a while, the instability of it drove me nuts.

After using Planet CCRMA for a while, I couldn't take it any more. Please check out my post here as to the reasons....

Gentoo, with the Pro Audio Overlay is ROCK SOLID STABLE. I HIGHLY recommend it, but not for a beginner.
