I have downloaded all three iso's of Fedora Core 1. When i try to burn the first disk nero tells me that the entered block size does not correspond to the image length and that theblock size may be wrong. Then if i ignore and burn anyway, it fails the mediacheck, and won't install. The other two disks are fine. I have downloaded the first iso 3 times from different sites and still get the same problem. Any ideas?

Try another mirror, just to see...however, I know that is has got to be getting frustrating
downloading all of thes 650MB images.....I have been having NO problems. I just downloaded
the first disk from one of the mirrors (sorry, I can't remember which one) and burned the image with XCDRoast and it went without a hitch...this was just two days ago.

I'll keep trying different mirrors, i'll try one from the US instead of the UK. but yes, it's doing my head in downloading so many times!

It's always good to check the MD5 sum after you finish downloading, too; run 'md5sum' on the downloaded ISO and make sure the output is the same as in the .md5 file they usually provide for big downloads. If they match, and you're still having problems, you at least know it's not a corrupted ISO.

I only have windows xp, can you run MD5sum on windows? I've tried downloading again and still have the same problem, might be nero? Could i change the block size in nero?

You have to download an md5sum tool for windows to be able to do that. Microsoft does not provide such a tool. I found one through google in a matter of minutes just last week.

You shouldn't have to change any settings in nero to burn it. I've always done it without changing anything

Got a md5sum and the iso is corrupt (hex number different) but what is the chance of this happening 4 times! Gonna try three overnight and see.

If your connection keeps dropping before the download is complete, then the chances are high. Try one at a time. I've had problems where I was on a college campus and downloading in my dorm and there was just too much traffic. Certain times of the day I could barely download 1 much less 3. Or maybe try to download all 3 but each one from a different place.

I'd say try one and if that works then maybe try 2. Or one per night and then one while you go off to school or work or whatever. I've set my alarm to wake up insanely earlier to start a new download before.
